PCD Command-line C Compiler for PIC24 Family and dsPIC® DSC

PCD Command-line compiler supports the Microchip PIC24 family and dsPIC family of devices. Popular PIC24 parts include PIC24FJ128GA006 and PIC24HJ128GP306 or from the dsPIC family the dsPIC30F4012 and dsPIC33FJ128GP706.

Compiler includes a complete library of 300-plus Built-in Functions and over 130 External Peripheral Drivers as well as more than 130 Example Programs for highly optimized code. Useful source code libraries for RS232, LCDs, HID, USB, SPI, I2C, Capacitive-Touch libraries and more will aid in starting projects quickly and efficiently. There are additional drivers supported in PCH for Realtime clock, CAN, TCP/IP and CDC.

PCD supports all the standard C operators and built-in functions, but also has advanced features that is only available to PIC24/dsPIC devices such as 48 and 64-bit Floating Point for calculations requiring greater precision or broader ranges. Convenient functions like #BIT , #BYTE and #WORD allow C variables to be placed at absolute addresses to map registers to C variables. PCD has enhanced oscillator control to choose from a multitude of clock sources, PLL and power saving options. Function recursion allows for interactive processing algorithms.

Command-line compilers may be run from a DOS prompt or be integrated into MPLAB^® IDE or other Microchip Third Party environments.
