| UART #2 in PIC16F18857 |

Hi,
PIC16F18857 says the uc has a second (UART2) available, however the 16F18857 file only defines TX1 & RX1 for PPS.
could anyone help me or tell me if there's a way to define TX2 & RX2 ports for a second UART communication?
Thanks! |

| i saw the same, but in several places Microchip gives this information, i suppose Datasheet is always right and overrules all other info in MCP site. |

Where do MicroChip 'give this information'????
I'd suspect you are looking at some of the generic stuff covering the whole
'family'. A lot of these sheets are for all the models of a particular range,
so will talk about multiple UART's, where some chips have these, but it
is up to you to verify what exists for your specific chip in the family. |
