Wrong PIC Detection

I am new to this forum. I have just started using the ICD-U40 and everything is working except when I detect the target chip it tells me I have an 18F248 when I know I have an 18F8520. Is there some setting I should be doing? Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok I figured out why there was a problem. I was actually using a PIC18LF8520 and my voltage was set to 5V. When I changed the voltage to 4V it recognised the chip. I feel stupid.
