PostPosted: Wed Jun 18, 2003 3:54 pm     Reply with quote

Canīt seem to get anything but " The CCS compiler is not installed on this computer......"

Here are the steps I took
1. uninstalled MPLAB 5.7 and 6.2
2. uninstalled CCS plug-in
3. rebooted the system
4. installed MPLAB 6.2
5. installed CCS compiler
6. installed CCS plug-in
7. rebooted system
8. launched MPLAB 6.2
9. Chose 16F873
10. went to project wizard and chose CCS

Tried a build and got the error msg listed above. Any suggestions?

You need to go to project->select language tool suite, and find the ccs for it.

Did all that. My compiler version is 2.727, not sure if that
makes a difference.

from a previous answer to a similar problem on this forum -

I had a similar problem, ending up reinstalling mplab and ccs to no avail. I contacted ccs - the solution is to check and ensure that you have all the .crg files in the same folder as the ccsc.exe. For some reason the ccs install did not copy them over, or something else removed them, although everything else seemed fine.

hth.

Best wishes,

Ray
