PCB Compiler missing 12F header files
PostPosted: Sat May 31, 2003 2:19 pm     Reply with quote

I've used the PCM compiler for a long time.
I just bought the PCB version to program 12F629 parts,
but there are no 12F part header files in the devices
directory, only 12C and 16C parts have header files.

Does anyone know what is going on and how I can remedy that?
12F parts are listed in the supported device section of the
CCS website, which is why I bought PCB.

12F629 and 12F675 use the PCM compiler! The header files would be included with it, I presume.

Good Luck!

John

I use the PCM compiler for PIC12F675, I'm sure that the PCM compiler would also be used for the PIC12F629.

Regards,

Shawn.

I have PCWH and I have just the 12F629.h and 12F675.h files in mine along with a lot of 12C and 12CE files. I would "assume" that PCB should have at least those two 12F files...check with CCS.
Good Luck,
Dave

You should have bought an upgrade to PCM. 12F629 is listed as needing PCM under 'supported devices' in my installation (3.155). Maybe, just maybe, ccs will do an exchange for you.

Best wishes,
