Has anyone written any code for navigation systems -- specifically using a 3-axis magnetometer combined with an accelerometer for tilt compensation?

Hi,

There are a bunch of guys doing a UAV model helicopter project with accelerometers, etc. Their project uses an Atmel CPU, but you should still be able to get some useful info from their open-source code that is written in C. You can see the project here: http://autopilot.sourceforge.net/

Pretty interesting stuff!!

Good Luck!
