Hardware SPI with software I2C, any problems?
PostPosted: Mon Jul 26, 2004 11:16 am     Reply with quote

Hi,

I have a new project using a 16F252 or 18F252 (not sure yet) I am going to interface with a MCP3208 A/D via hardware SPI and then a FRAM chip via software I2C, does anyone know of any problems with software I2C compiler v3.148. or should it be OK?

Thx

I ran the same set up with a 16F877 and had no problems. In fact, there were 2 soft I2C interfaces since I had 2 different I2C devices with the same address.
