RS485 + Modbus
PostPosted: Wed May 26, 2004 8:18 am     Reply with quote

hi

I want to connect 2 PIC's per RS485. As protocoll I want to use the modbus. The problem is, that I don't have idea, how works the modbus protocoll.

I'm working with CCS Compiler and 18f252. In the example folder from CCS I have found the file rs485.c. Can anyone to explain me, how doe's the file rs485.c work? or maybe post some Code(example)? Which Protocoll has this file(modbus?)?

Thanks, Pablo.

PD.: sorry for my english

Search this BBS for "modbus" entries authored by "Neutone" and you will find lots of examples.
