bootloader using spi
PostPosted: Sat May 01, 2004 9:20 am     Reply with quote

Hi All,

I have noticed that all the bootloaders are for serial RS232.
Where I can find code for a bootloader using spi ?

Thanks.

I've never seen one before. That said, you should be able to take an existing bootloader that works over a USART connection and modify it to receive the data over SPI.

I recently modified a bootloader to take data over the PSP connection between a Rabbit 2000 CPU and a PIC18F452 because I needed in-system reprogrammability and there were no other connections to the outside world.
