How to change Bit 0 of AFPCON register?
PostPosted: Sat Aug 18, 2018 10:53 am     Reply with quote

Hello All,

You guys have been a great help to me in past years, so I am hoping you can help me out with this one. I have a PIC12F1840 chip (8pin) which allows you to change the pin out of CCP1 from one pin to another to free up the INT function. To do this, I have to change bit 0 of the APFCON register. Sounds easy enough. The address of this register is 11D. Is there a straight forward way to do this? I hope CCS-C has some simple way. Our software is about a year old, not certain what the version is. Thanks.

This thread shows two ways to do it, depending on the age of your compiler:

Hey, that worked perfect! I actually "discovered" the registers tab on ccs, and used the 11D code instead, but now really understand what these commands are all about. Thank you once again for your amazing answers!
