Yes, but here in Australia. It's nearly 3 degrees behind, can I put -3 for declination value ?

Hi sshahryiar,

Could you please let me know how to convert that 3 degrees to that value , here my issue is when I rotate the compass chip in a small amount , it displays huge angle, for an example, for 20 degree it indicates 60-80 degrees , however it gives the full scale from 0 to 360, I'm stucked and could you please give me a direction?

It's 3 degrees positive east, do I need to convert 3 degrees to radiant ?

then the radiand value is +0.052359878, but it did not make a considerable difference, what may be the issue?

Possible Issues

Possible Issues:

1. Disturbance due to nearby metallic or electronic object(s)....
2. Tilting.... This is not a tilt compensated compass module likeHMC6352....
3. Interference from electrical sources generating considerable amount of magnetic disturbance....
4. Poor PCB design layout....
