I am trying to program the PIC18F4620 using my own programmer essentially. I am using the low-voltage programming method as stated in the Flash Micro-controller programming specification and toggling PGM, PGC and PGD accordingly in order to write to PIC memory.
I am writing to memory using table write commands which consist of the 1000 command followed by a 16-bit operand. I am just trying to load a simple program into code memory which will tri-state PORT C on power up.
I am running the PIC using a 25MHz crystal in HS mode. Hence, I think I will need to program this in the configuration space of memory as well. Does someone know the exactly programming sequence required to do this?
Also, this Programmer/Debugger sub-forum is not the place to ask
questions like this. This sub-forum is about problems with the CCS
programmers/debuggers, such as ICD-U40, etc.
If you have questions on writing programs, post them in the General
Don't post questions in the 12F675 thread given above. Nobody wants to
answer questions in the Code Library forum, unless it is about bugs in
the original post.
