Programming PIC12F683\629
PostPosted: Thu Oct 22, 2009 11:27 am     Reply with quote

Hello

I have the programmer ICD-U40 and I have installed
ICD CONTROL program V2.91 (Burning\loading program)
my ICD programmer Version is : CCS 2.73 REV #101 PIC16 PIC18 DSPIC

I succeeded to program PIC18F4455 or PIC18452 (the programmer recognize them)
but when I try to program PIC12F683\629
the program couldn't recognize the target device

In the In-Circuit Debugger/Programmer Devices Supported
as below:
http://www.ccsinfo.com/devices.php?page=icddevices

Wrote that the ICD U40 support that device (PIC12F683\629)

What is wrong here ?

Why I can't program those devices ?
(I did the switch between RB6 -> GP1 ,RB7 -> GP0)

ICD U40 support those device ???

Thanks.

The ICD-U40 will program these 683/629 devices but remember the
devices don't support debugging. However you can download to the target
providing you don't try to enter debug.
