ICDU40 Debugging issues with PIC24H
PostPosted: Mon Mar 30, 2009 4:02 pm     Reply with quote

Hi,

I have a ICDU40 with latest firmware 2.53 to support PIC24H MCU's.
I am able to download software to my target board with PIC24HJ128GP506 using the ICDU40. But when i try to enter the debugging mode, all the code is loaded by the complier and finally the compiler asks me to check the fuse and conections for VDD,MCLR, ICSP pins. I checked them and all are fine. What can i do in this situation?

I am using PGD3 and PGC3 and my target board has 3.3V.

Turns out that it is a compiler issue.

I updated the CCS compiler to version 4.090 and everything is working now.
