Hyperterminals Form Feed

Guys,

I am trying to use hyperterminal's winsock to send binary data to a PIC based webserver (18F4680). But the problem is that the binary data is encoded with the Shift-JIS format ( when hyperterminal is used to send this data) , and in that FF is for "form feed" in SHIFT-JIS encoding method, and thus when ever FF is encountered, it just duplicates the data.

Is there anyway round it, I know this is a PIC based forum, but could not find anything on this online, so you guys are my last hope.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Shift-JIS is a japanese language editing tool. So I think your binary file is being represented as Japanese. I dont think this forum will be able to help you on that, there are very few people who know the editing transitions of shift JIS, EUC and standard JIS.
