Hi friends,

Can somebody tell me how I can use the ICD2 out of the CCS IDE ?

I installed all tools, also I read all the forum entries, but all I can get is the Microchip Logo in the toolsbar.

Is this correct ?

I thought I will be able to use the ICD2 direct like the ICD-U40 from CCS.

BTW, Have already 3 ICD-U40 Units all working for a while, now all are dead, can't recognize any processors.

CCS is not providing any schematics for these units. Can anybody help me to find the faults ? Maybe somebody has schematics for these units.

The easiest solution is to switch to using MPLAB as the IDE. Use the CCS
compilers within MPLAB. See this FAQ article on how to do it:
