PostPosted: Tue Mar 16, 2004 3:44 am     Reply with quote

I've got a variable which the CCS compiler put in bank 0 ( address 0x12)

when I change the value of the variable, its not changed since the bank

bits are set for another bank.

Tel me, do I have to dill with bank bits, here in C code????????????

Bank 0 and F have special access. They dont require bank jumps with some instructions. I think I read that in the PIC18 data sheet section on the instruction set. Of course I may have just dreamed that.
