WANTED Used CCS Compiler For dsPIC30F4012
PostPosted: Fri Jan 11, 2019 2:21 pm     Reply with quote

Our used CCS dsPIC Starter Kit doe not have a compiler disk with it.

Will consider any used CCS compiler that supports dsPIC's or just

dsPIC30F4012.

The CCS demo can be used for 45 days. It supports dsPIC:

Thank you.

I am pretty sure I have used up my on free 45 day demo.

But if it would work that would be a good way to test the hardware.

I will be watching Ebay to see if one pops up but that's a real long shot.

Was there ever a Single Chip version for the dsPIC30F4012?

Looks like Starter kit came with either PCD or PCDIDE.

A very awkward request indeed.

Most of the regulars here love our CCS compiler licenses along with CCS. You won't really find us selling off that license. (not even sure they're transferable. )

If you need a free compiler, why not download XC16 from Microchip? It has a free version that will continue to keep going at the unlicensed level of optimization.

Granted, that limits the devices it will fit on and honestly, the free mode outputs some pretty lousy ASM... but as the saying goes, "ya get what ya pay for".

Might be good enough for you.

Cheers,

-Ben
