how to Ping google

Need help trying to right code to ping google to see if i plugged into a open network. Using ccs 3.3 embedded ethernet board.

What is the ccs code for ping?

You send an ICMP echo request packet. Then look for the reply. Depends a bit on which actual stack you have.
