Have you tried using the flex.c driver without any modifications ?
It's always worked for me.
I'm thinking you've modified it and if so you should post your 'version' so we can figure out what you've done.

I'd be looking carefully at how the signal actually connects.
Remember 4uSec at the chip won't be 4uSec at the display, if (for instance) there is significant capacitance on the line, and depending on what Vih/Vil actually are. The data sheet specifies these as 3.5v and 0.6v. So you should look at how quickly the signal actually ramps between these voltages when operated. If there is some resistance in the line, and capacitance loading, then this time may be significant....
And, have to agree with Temtronic's comment about flex_lcd. It is simple, and reliable. |

Have to ask a very basic question. Which PIC are you using and have you a good 5 volt power supply connected to it? A picture or schematic might show us the problem as the flex driver has always worked.
