Seriously, the 'missing low nibble', is exactly what you'd expect, if you
have an ADS1015, rather than the ADS1115. So triple check. Get a
magnifying glass on the part number, and check it doesn't look at all
odd in this part. Annoyingly the device doesn't seem to have an option
to read it's ID, so it can't be software tested. The 1015, is about 1/3rd
the price of the 1115, so it'd be quite a logical thing for companies to forge
this number change, and 'make a killing'.... |

On the ADS1015, the bottom 4 bits of Lo_thresh Register and Hi_thresh Register
are read only. But on the ADS1115, they are shown as R/W in the data sheet.
So a program could be created to check for this.
