just a comment..
A fairly new PIC ( 5 digit..) and newest compiler with a different way of doing stuff.....yes, there's probably a couple of bugs.. and I expect that.
When you consider the hundreds of PICs that come out in a year and the new features CCS has to support, just HOW can every feature of every PIC be tested ? It'd be interesting to know how big a staff CCS has. I assume a team for each of the different compilers, or teams for PIC series as there's no way it's just ONE guy cutting code !
I stay away from the newer PICs unless one has a peripheral I HAVE to use. Maybe that's cause I'm old and set in my ways. I miss the pretty purple glow of PICs being erased.....
