PIC and 4511 multiplexing 2 groups of 7segments
PostPosted: Sun Dec 05, 2010 1:15 pm     Reply with quote

hi, I want to measure current and voltage and display it on 2 groups of displays.
But I don't know how. I have 6 seven segment LED displays, and I don't know how to manage it to work. Is any driver for that ? For BDC display?

You don't specify which PIC or compiler version you're using ,but it must have at least 10 I/O pins for the display and 2 for the analog readings.

The zip file shows an incomplete schematic, with errors in the unknown BCD:7 segment IC wiring.

I suggest creating a simple program to display the digits on the display, then add the analog code later.
You can Google for PIC C Code 7 segment display, or similar to find articles about how to do it.
HINT. There's a nice tachometer code on the web.....
tons of other stuff as well.
