providing clock output
PostPosted: Wed Apr 23, 2003 4:09 pm     Reply with quote

I need provide clock signal from PIC18f452 to a external device with very precise specific frecuency. I'm thinking about two possibilities.

FIRST.- Complementing output pin value for each TIMER Interrupt.
SECOND.- TIMER1 working as Clock output configuration in RC0/TCK1 pin.

I not sure what is the best and precise solution for make periodic signals.
You now another options?
If you think about second option, how make it in CCS PCW compiler?

Thanks in advance.

Read the PWM section of the datasheet for the PIC18f452. This is easy to use.
