PostPosted: Thu Nov 19, 2009 11:35 am     Reply with quote

Hi

I think this CCS stuff is real bad!
I got problem with my U64 ccsload 4019, but it worked. Now after updating to 4020 it doesn't work! used 1 hour on this [censored]!
Downgrade and then it work, but sometime it disconnect and it's not fun!

I think ccs is on the way to low budget product!

Sorry, made a clean reinstall and now it working:-)

Just information if any have the same problem.

Found the trouble in "devices4p.dat".
If using that one supplied with CCSLOAD 4.019 no problem at all.
But if using shipped version 4.020 it wont work!

Now CCSLOAD version 4021 is released, but I can't get it working with 18f26j11.
Only if I use the old "devices4.dat" from 02/09/2009 then it work.
I think this version is fron CCSLOAD 4019.

Do you have the same problem?

I don't know if anyone from CCS reads this forum but many including myself has had nothing but problems with the CCSLoad software. It's crap and they need to look into it.
I can do the voltmeter tests and all seems fine but it won't program 12F675's at all.
I bought this thing so I could get away from my parallel programmer and use a modern computer but my parallel programmer with the free picall software will outwork circles around the ICD-U64
