Increase the Frequency Resolution

I have problem to Increase the Frequency Resolution. Which my project are constant duty cycle and adjust frequency. frequency period adjust between 30-100kHz. Max resolution or minimum step of frequency ? in PIC16F

Look up a "numerically controlled oscillator", Wikipedia is a good place to start. NCOs are very flexible and can give great resolution, but 100kHz may be bit high for a 16F type PIC though.
