Problem Programming PIC18F87J10
PostPosted: Thu Mar 15, 2007 10:41 am     Reply with quote

I have a problem trying to program the 18f87J10 (3.3V device) using ICD-U40 (upgraded to 2.14 #100 Firmware) and the latest ICD executable.

The Vcc pin on the ICD is conneted to target board's 3.3V supply.

ICD detects the target when "Test Target" is selected and can read out the empty PIC's memory, but an error message appears after selecting the HEX file I am trying to load.

Has anyone successfully programmed this PIC with CCS ICD?

CCS assured me that the 3.3V PIC18F87J10 was supported, but I can't seem to get it working.

If anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
