LCD.C....do the drivers work correctly?
PostPosted: Wed Jul 06, 2005 1:58 am     Reply with quote

Has anyone successfully implemented the drivers found in LCD.C? I am using a F84A running at 4MHz (XT) trying to control a 16X2 lcd with the common HD44780U driver IC, but without much luck...I can't even the cursor on the screen. Are there any bugs or 'funnies' that I should look for with the divers?

After calling lcd_init(), should I at least see the cursor on the screen?

Thanks,
Spero.

See these threads for info on configuring the LCD driver to
work with Port B.
