USBN9603 with PIC16F877
PostPosted: Thu Mar 17, 2005 6:51 am     Reply with quote

Hi there
I have the pleasure to join to you guys.
I have a big problem in using USBN9603 with PIC16F877 and I hope you will kindly help me.
I Have a complete version of CCS compiler and trying to make a project uses USB examples included in. I made the board exactly as it exists in the compiler's PDFs without the generator (collect it in test board). but it dosen't work, when I connect the usb cable the system detects it but dosen't recognize the device type (HID) and stopped at "wait for enumeration" statement on serial port monitor utility.
I had modified the input.inf file in windows xp and added the VID and PID numbers as it written in the descriptors (hid_desc.h).

I don't know what to do..

please help me to find the problem and if there is any note????

Seems like enumeration is not passed
Make the enumeration passed first.
Check you descriptors for the HID class
