| ICD-U40 "Verification Results" |

Hi there!
So I finally bought me an ICD-U40! Wihaa! 
But... after sucesfully compiling the example "EX_ICD.C" the debugger downloads it to my 18F452. It comes to 100%, then a window pops up with caption "Verification Result". It lists a bunch of adresses that dosen't have the expected value. I uppgraded the ICD with the latest firmware (CCS 1.33). I have blanked/erased the PIC in another programmer before using the debugger, without any difference.
Does anyone know why this is?
The supply voltage is a bit over 5V, (5.44V), could this be the fault?

I've found that I sometimes get this message from the ICD-U40 when
there are other power sources connected to the hardware ie. serial port. |

Do you mean the serial port on the PIC?
I acctually had a MAX232 connected to my PIC, but removing it didn't help. You didn't mean the serial port on the PC did you?
For the record: I have succesfuly programmed the MCU with the stand alone program ICD-U. With that program I can start and stop the PIC and so on...

Something hit me... the adresses that are wrong, are pretty high. Aren't they? Maybe they are used for debugging?
 And ALSO...
I attached a 5V stabilizer, wich maked the list of faulty adresses even longer. That made me think that if a raized Vdd, the list would be shorter. And it did! I went up to ~6V. The debugger stared, but telling me that there were something wrong with the MCU clock. The debugger reported 0MHZ... I didn't have the nerves to try with 6V that long without briefing with you smart guys here at the forum.
So... please, what is wrong? Why dosen't it work with 5V? What's with the clock?

I just want to say thanks for the help guys!
I bought a 16f874a instead of the 18f452, and it works like a charm! Must have been something wrong with that one.
