Confusion: dsPics supported?
PostPosted: Wed Sep 08, 2004 8:42 am     Reply with quote

First, forgive me if this question has already been asked or if there is some rediculously obvious page that I missed.

Does the CCS compiler support any of the dsPics? I'm going to have to use two of them for my project and I'm not looking forward to writing the majority of my code in assembly. Having the CCS compiler would literally be a gift from on high.

The reason I'm asking is because on the CCS webpage, it seems as if support is still being developed but I have read several posts on these forums about people having problems or questions involving dsPics which would suggest to me that they do have the compilers support.

Is ds support included in the latest version, or are we still waiting? If so, a rough guess on when it will be released? (like next 6 months, 1 year etc, nothing terribly accurate)

Thanks!

I see that ICD-S program support for dsPIC30F2010 , but
when I connect it - it call me that is - no target.
About programming - still no, and when, they themself don'n know.
You can use MPLAB C30, Hi-Tech DSPICC, IAR for this device.
