Problem with MPLab V6.50 and PCH V3.163
PostPosted: Sat May 08, 2004 12:25 pm     Reply with quote

Hi All,

When I compile my project in MPLab, I get the following error:

Clean: Deleting intermediary and output files.
Clean: Done.
Executing: "C:\Program Files\PICC18\Ccsc.exe" main.c +FH
No Errors
Halting build on first failed translation as user preferences indicate.
BUILD FAILED: Sat May 08 19:51:02 2004

PCH has compiled all the files correctly, but MPLab reports the build failed and will not allow me to debug the program.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Andy

Is MPLAB looking for the include files in the right place ? As I recall you have to setup paths from within MPLAB as well as CCS.

I have found the problem Laughing . When using MPLab, I used the CCS Compiler tool instead of the CCS 12/14/16/18 cpomiler tool option. I then browsed to point at the PCH compiler. Then all compiled correctly.

Thanks
Andy
