ICD2: Unable to load FT2dxx Drivers
PostPosted: Sat Apr 10, 2004 9:48 pm     Reply with quote

Sorry if this is a FAQ, but can't seem to find it.

I'm reloading CCS/MPLAB and have the uChip ICD2 working in MPLAB 6.50. However, when I attempt to connect to the uChip ICD2 in CCS PCWH, I get a dialog with the error message "Unable to load FT2dxx drivers". Can someone give me a tip on how to resolve this?

Thanks Question

CCS PCWH only supports the ICD1 (loaded with CCS firmware) or any of the ICDs that CCS sells (http://www.ccsinfo.com/icds.shtml). AFAIK, it does not support the ICD2. You can only use it in MPLAB.
