LCD options in PCW Wizard: Why are they grayed out?
PostPosted: Tue Mar 09, 2004 9:09 pm     Reply with quote

This has got to be a FAQ, yet I do not see it in a search of this group, nor does the FM have a reference.

When creating a new project, why are the LCD options disables on the SPI & LCD tab of the PCW wizard? I figured the you must defind port pins to put the LCD on, but which ones does the wizard accept? There is no reference in the manual.

Thanks in advance,

Dave Comer Confused

You use LCD you have to specify a PIC with LCD hardware built in like the 16C924 etc.

Ahhhh.. Thanks. I wasn't considering the 924; had my mind on the Hitachi Module.
If that explains my stupidity. Very Happy
