				| I bought my ccs compiler PCW for windows from digikey. I have win2k,
 I have two questions
Do I need to pay for an add-in to use the PCW for Microchip 18F542?
Q2: Everytime, I close the PCW window, I have a fatal error memory location .... ? Does anybody else have the same issue with Win2k?

				| I have the same setup - almost- bought from Digi-Key, running on Win 2K.
 - You need PCW/H to get the 18 series support - though when I checked at D-K, they only show PCW/H - is that what you have?

 - I don't get a fatal error on closing - usually. Sometimes I get a hang up, but I think it may be an interaction with MPLAB which I use for programming and debugging via the ICD2. On the whole, it works fine.

				| Well I take back part of my previous post - I DO get "memory reference" errors on shutting down the CCS IDE even with no MPLAB. Not every time though. Anyway - it's not related to MPLAB.

				| I was getting a regular memory reference error when I close PCWH 3.180 but it seemed to compile correctly . I have just added some more lines to the source and now it hangs mid compile and displays a similar error.
 I'm running on XP professional.

I've raised a bug report with CCS some months ago but I've heard nothing. This is the first time I've read of similar problems
