I haven't compiled the provided drivers yet... Im currently at work.
I am SUPER excited to have the drivers as they make me think there's light at the end of the tunnel.
I can confirm CCS did provide the drivers, and continue to provide great customer service, For Which i am deeply thank full....
I had not made any comments directly on the forum since I did not run the example yet... and cant really make any comments whether it worked or not..
i will report back as soon as i have a go at it tonight.
thanks for your help, again.

Im getting a ton of errors still...
however i noticed that the changes i do, do not get changed in the actual file...
its strange.. I make a change on "hardware.h" (part of the stack) since i had to include my hardware profile and compile...
it tells me there is an error on line x.. i click on the error which brings up the file in question... and my prior changes are there.. BUT when i go into my hardrive from windows directly and open as TXT the file.. the changes are not there...
something is not right.

Never mind... i just made a copy of the stack in my project folder the above problem went away...
Still getting a massive amount of errors... not compiling...
All errors are related to the stack though... at least thats what im getting....
sigh... the battle continues.. _________________ CCS PCM 5.078 & CCS PCH 5.093 |

Why not contact Darren and ask him for instructions on how to compile
the Modbus TCPIP example files that he gave you ? |

SUCCESS!!!!
The driver compiled... still not tested if it works.
The problem was the Stack.
Richard from CCS was kind enough to send me the Stack files used to create the driver and that made all problems go away immediately.
I'll be developing a hardware profile for my Olimex board and submiting it to CCS so that they can include it in the release drivers.
thanks,

I did manage to get a working version of this driver, and tested it with 2 Modbus programs like "modbus poll"
However, the amount of files needed that i got from CCS was quite large.
I don't know if i can distribute the drivers here (or anywhere else) as its part of the forum rules.
