Suggestion for CCS web site re: version information
Posted: Thu Jul 29, 2004 9:38 pm
Hi
I think it would be really good if the CCS web site included not just the version information and bug fix information, but also the date that version was released (in ISO yyyy-mm-dd format so it's non-ambiguous, unlike US mm-dd-yyyy format or European mm-dd-yyyy format).
At least then, I would have some idea of when each compiler revision was released. With the current list, I have no idea whether it was an issue a week or a year ago.
Cheers

CCS probably won't follow your suggestion.
I have downloaded most versions soon after they were available,
so I could look at the date/time stamp for you.
What versions did you want to know the dates of ?

Or just rename the file and append the version to the filename when you save it.
For instance, my CCS files have names like: PcWHUpd_3_185.exe (which indicates it's V 3.185 of PCWH).
