| Compiler Manual |

| I've noticed that in some of the example programs there are function options/features that are not documented in the compiler manual. The manual on the website is dated 2021. Are there any plans to release an update any time soon? |

You'd need to ask CCS.
This is a user forum, not them.
They seem to be getting much more loth to update the .pdf manual
recently. It always lagged a bit, but is now awful. Generally though the
compiler itself is so small, that it is easier to just use the help in this.
I'd suggest you point out to them that their webpage says this is the
latest manual, and that this is very much not the case now.... |

I thought some of the posters on this forum were CCS employees.
Thanks for the info. |

| I asked CCS Tech Support, and they said they expect to release an updated manual in about a month. |

Got curious myself so I dug through my files. The oldest version of the compiler that I labeled is 3.148. Have a generically named pcwhupd.exe with a file creation date from 2003, but it may actually be older than that. Pretty sure if I fire up an old machine I have sitting downstairs that I'd be able to find more than one 2.x vintage of the compiler. |
