Germany client mission: eSIM promo codes and discounts

Hi everyone,

So, three days at an automotive subcontractor near Stuttgart in mid-May, dealing with an integration issue on a pre-production PIC18F board. On-site ICD debugging, nothing too complicated on paper.

Except the factory Wi-Fi was heavily filtered, with some kind of corporate proxy blocking pretty much everything going outside the internal network. I couldn't access MPLAB Cloud, couldn't get on the forum to check something about a messed-up #pin_select issue, and the datasheets were on my personal cloud, which was blocked too.

Honestly, it was pretty frustrating at the time. I was stuck with an ICD throwing some weird error and no way to quickly look up a solution. I eventually pulled out my laptop and tethered it through my phone, but my French carrier's roaming plan was ridiculously expensive for three days of heavy data usage.

A colleague sent me a page listing eSIM promo codes and discounts for several providers. I grabbed a 5 GB plan within ten minutes, for around €6 after the discount.

After that, I was back on the forum, found the relevant thread, and got everything sorted out the next day.
