dsPIC33CK & CH, PCD Wizard and PWM
PostPosted: Mon Oct 04, 2021 2:08 pm     Reply with quote

Hello,

I would like to use a dsPIC33CK or CH to try this family.
I just checked if PCD wizard supports this family and I have an empty page if I want to choose PWM or capture peripheral.

Is it just me or is there a problem ?

I use CCS 5.105.

Thank you very much for your help Smile

Not really.
The wizard', is something that causes more problems than it solves.
Honestly, simply don't use the wizard....
I don't think you will find any of the 'old hands' here, ever use this.
I have yet to see one chip 'properly' setup using this....

This family has a separate high resolution PWM module, as distinct from
the output_compare function in the 'normal' DsPIC's. Hence different
setup needed. You actually use the CCP, like the older PIC16/18's, rather
than output_compare.
