PIC problems
PostPosted: Thu Aug 12, 2021 9:33 am     Reply with quote

In another forum I read
"Microchip PIC, for example, are infamous for working even when part of the GPIO bank is toasted."
Is this true? Which family?
I have never experienced this.

I know you can put a 16C84 into a Picstart+, wrong(180*_ and when you do it PROPERLY, it'll program just fine and work.......
Since today's PIC are really ,really, really tiny, I suspect any EMI bad enough to destroy a single I/O pin, would take out the entire PIC
