CCS ICD U-40 Question
PostPosted: Mon May 09, 2011 8:29 pm     Reply with quote

Hi All,

In general will a CCS ICD U-40 programmer program a PIC with a .hex file generated using a different compiler, in this case the Microchip C18 'C' compiler?

The firmware upload works, but code doesn't appear to be working at all, which leads me to believe that something is being handled incorrectly.

I'm eventually going to write my own code with the CCS compiler, but at the moment I'm just trying to verify a hardware design with some known working code.

John
