How to create own Characters in 5x8 LCD

Hi all,
my Dot Matrix Display from Everbouquet works fine but how do I create own characters and how do I display them?

You didn't give the part number. Is this a standard 16x2 LCD
character module ?

If so, do a web search for this string: custom LCD characters
You'll find websites that have tutorials about it:
