Driverproblems
PostPosted: Fri Apr 16, 2004 4:55 am     Reply with quote

we use the prototyping board and want to use usb-hid and usb-scope, but under "File" there is no device in the list.
The Readme File tells us that: "First, plug the USB demo device into your computer. Windows should detect the new plug-in-play hardware and try to set up a driver for it."
We wanted to install directly from the hard disk and located the right order of the driver location, but a message "There is no Hardware information!" appears on the screen.

what shall we do? Question

Hi,

Normally with a USB device you have to install the drivers FIRST

then when the installation is complete plug in the device and

then Jironamoo!

TO check if your computer has detected the device

goto device manager (diffrent places for win OS versions)

Under Universal Serial Bus you should see the device name

Hope this helps!!
