ICD - versions ICD1 ICD2 IC-40S ICD-40S ???

I have just ordered 2 x ICD-40U

CCS will not reply to the question is ICD-40U quicker than ICD-40S.

ICD-20S is quicker than Microchip ICD2.

Is ICD-40S quicker than ICD-40U?

Cau u change a Microchip ICD1 to a CCS ICD-40S by changing the XTAL to 10MHz & the part to 18F252 etc?

Any thoughts?

For me the ICDU40 is much quicker than the ICDS. According to their specs on the website it is as well.
