Burning Flash

Hi
If I want to burn one memory location of flash in one the PIC16F series, so I need to erase a whole sector/segment? Or can I just write that location alone? How does the flash in PICs work? Thanks.

The best place to find these answers would be in the datasheet of the device. If you are going to use CCS's functions, they should take care of this for you.
