Data Loss
PostPosted: Sat Sep 06, 2003 6:37 pm     Reply with quote

Due to an incorrect SQL statement, the forum database was lost. All messages posted between Friday and Saturday were lost. Also all user registrations during that time were lost too.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

(If there is something learned, be carefull with your SQL statements)

If you go to the Memberlist page and click on people's names, you'll see none of the information about the person is shown and the Joined date is 1 Jan 1970. You might want to fix this before it can lead to bigger problems.

Thanks for pointing it out. The data is fine in the database (actually, you can see it just fine on the Memberlist page), but it looks like the script is having problems reading the database for that page.

Asking for support now...

Not sure what happened, but I went thru the code and found a bug and fixed it. Isn't open source great?

Please let me know if you're still having problems.

Not sure why it started doing this now. It was working fine before.

If open source is so great, why don't you make the CCS compiler open source :?:
