Pin for I2C on 16F876
PostPosted: Tue Jul 15, 2003 6:51 am     Reply with quote

Hello!
I have some qestions about the i2c on 16F876:

I wonder if i must use the pins C3 and C4 on 16F876 for i2c, because they are already used in my programms... and i hope there is no problem using the pwm mode on port C in the same time. Right?

What is the difference between using the hardware mode or not??

Thnaks for your answer and sorry for my poor english Smile
Bye

:=Hello!
:=I have some qestions about the i2c on 16F876:
If you want to use the hardware I2C port then you must use pins RC3 and RC4. If you want to use the software implementation of the I2C port, then you may use other pins.

Regards,
Mark
