Installing PCB Compiler To Work With PCW
PostPosted: Sat Oct 24, 2020 7:36 pm     Reply with quote

Our PCW is installed in a separate directory from other CCS compilers.

PICC 4 directory.

This PCW is an Evaluation edition that supports 16F877 and 18F252 PIC's only.

How do we install the PCB to work within PCW please?

Our PCB is the command line version. No Windows IDE.

You don't.
You have an evaluation copy of PCW. This is limited to work with the
evaluation compiler.

Use MPLAB vs. 8.92 as the IDE for the PCB compiler.

Download MPLAB vs. 8.92:
http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/MPLAB_IDE_8_92.zip

Download the CCS plugin for MPLAB vs. 8.92:

To get a programmer that works with it, buy a cheap Pickit 3 clone. Example:
