CCS ICD-U40 failed to program
PostPosted: Fri Oct 22, 2010 2:06 am     Reply with quote

Hi dude,
I've a CCS ICD-U40 (firmware 2.85) and use ccsload program to flash 18F4680, and there is an error about configuration bits unmatched. I use Microchip ICD2 and it can flash the chip perfectly. Can anyone help me to solve the problem?

regards,
pak

hi .
I had a similar problem. I believe when ccsload read the hex file, sometimes it misses the configuration parts, so the program still uses the default configuration data. I would suggest you go to File and and go to configuration /ID to change the configuration bits manually. Click save. Then try to write to chip again. Hopefully, it solves the problem.
